How to Read Your Stress-Test Results
Interpret your assessment scores — which risks matter most and what to tackle first.
What you’ll learn
How to interpret your stress-test results so you know which risk to tackle first — not just which score to “fix.”
Before you start
You need a completed stress-test assessment. If you haven’t run one yet, do that first.
Steps
Step 1 — Open your dashboard
Navigate to your canvas dashboard where your assessment results are displayed. You’ll see the 7 dimension scores with color-coded ratings.
Step 2 — Read the dimension scores
Each dimension has a rating (red, yellow, green) and a brief explanation of why LEANSpark scored it that way. Read the explanations, not just the colors.
Step 3 — Identify your top risk
Look at your red dimensions first. Among those, find the one LEANSpark flags as most critical. This is typically the assumption that, if wrong, invalidates the rest of your model.
Step 4 — Understand the recommendation
LEANSpark doesn’t just score — it recommends what to do next. Read the recommendation for your top risk. It will point you toward a specific type of experiment or validation activity.
What to look for
- Sequence matters more than scores. A business model with three red dimensions isn’t three times worse than one with a single red — it just has more untested assumptions. The key is tackling them in the right order.
- Existential risks first. If your Customer Segment is wrong, nothing else matters. If your Problem isn’t real, your Solution is irrelevant. LEANSpark helps you find the domino that topples everything else.
- Common misread: “fixing” a score. The goal isn’t to turn red into green on a screen. It’s to reduce uncertainty through real-world evidence. A red score that leads to a pivotal interview is more valuable than a green score you never tested.
